Beginning in the Spring of 2015, the Aliso Viejo Little League Board of Directors approved the addition of a new Juniors 80 division. This Division will play with the same rules defined in the Little League Green Book, but will be played at shorter distances. The pitching rubber will be located 54 feet from the plate, while the base paths will be 80 feet apart. Additionally, this division will consist of league age 13 year olds only. This is in contrast to our Juniors(60/90) program, which may consist of 13 and 14 year olds and will be played at the normal distances between the pitching mound and the bases for the Juniors division. Qualified 13 year old players may be drafted up into the Juniors 90 division if they are drafted within the first four rounds. The Aliso Viejo Little League board believes that this level of play will continue to add to our local program and provide a smooth transition for players as they progress in the game.
Most importantly, you must have been approved with a background check and have the appropriate access in the website to umpire games. These efforts must completed each year, so if you have not done either of these, please reach out to Scott or Chris to get this taken care of quickly.
To sign up for games please click here on Master Schedule or under Home Plate on the left. Games that still require an umpire will list will display a drop down box to the right.
Simply click on the drop down arrow and select the umpire position. You will receive an email confirmation of your volunteer signup.
**If you are looking for umpire opportunities for Juniors or Seniors games, please use the District signup found by clicking HERE.**
You can limit the master schedule calendar view to only display games by clicking the check box for "Show games only" at the top of the calendar listings. Also, if you don't see games that you'd expect to see, make sure and clear the filters under the options link on the right side of the page.
